As the world’s eyes are watching Egypt for the COP 27 conference, we will be hitting the streets, spotlighting NAB’s hypocrisy and greenwash and asking NAB’s CEO, Ross McEwan to fulfil their own climate promises and rule out funding coal- starting with Whitehaven. 

This is a community led, fun, peaceful event. We’ll be marching to multiple NAB branches will be talking to NAB staff and customers, singing, contacting NAB executives and having a collective impact with other groups across the country during our #NotAnotherDollar Week of Action.

WHEN: Friday 11th November, 3-5pm

WHAT: A community led action during the first week of COP- the global climate negotiations- asking NAB to rule out funding for new coal, starting with Whitehaven. This is a finale event- all are welcome. 

WHERE: Meet Reddacliff Place, 266 George St, Brisbane. We’ll be marching to the NAB branch at the top of Queen St Mall and then to the NAB Branch next to the Post Office at the bottom of the mall - approximately 600m of walking).

For those extra keen, you are welcome to join a contingent of people continuing on to visit the Fortitude Valley branch (a 20min walk away).
