Since then, communities across the country have stepped up to push NAB to end their support for Whitehaven Coal’s dangerous coal expansions - and NAB is taking notice.

We have the attention of NAB’s CEO Ross McEwan and a meeting with NAB’s Chief Climate Officer. And we’ve even forced NAB branches to close their doors for the day instead of facing tough conversations with our Action Teams outside. In response, NAB are spending big dollars greenwashing their image to mitigate the reputational damage of being associated with coal. 

But with NAB executives set to make some key decisions around future financing of Whitehaven Coal over the next six months, we need to keep up the pressure!
