2023 was the hottest year on record, and it’s clear now more than ever that our communities are feeling the impacts of the climate crisis.
With 25 coal proposals awaiting approval, we need a big, powerful, visible movement holding the Albanese Labor Government and billionaire corporations to account and calling out their empty promises.
On Saturday 16th March, Move Beyond Coal teams from across Melbourne will be coming together at Jika Jika Community Centre in Northcote for a training and planning day to:
- Revisit our vision for our movement that ends coal this decade
- Connect with the injustices we are fighting and the solidarity we are building

Discuss and cement our strategy for the next 6 months on political and corporate targets
