Australian communities sent a clear message at the last election – we want real climate action.
Right now, Australia has 69 proposed new coal mines and expansions – more than anywhere else in the world. To have any chance of preserving a safe climate, the science is unequivocal – all new fossil fuel projects must be stopped immediately.
Every new coal and gas project puts Australians at increased risk of deadly fires and floods, contributes to devastating climate disasters beyond out shores, and accelerates the loss of our precious wildlife and natural environments such as the Great Barrier Reef.
Our leaders have a responsibility to protect lives, livelihoods, and nature by keeping coal in the ground.
Will you contact your Federal MP and ask them to stop all new coal, oil and gas?
