As world leaders head to Egypt for the COP 27 climate talks, we will be hitting the streets of Sydney to spotlight NAB’s climate hypocrisy and greenwash. We will demand that CEO, Ross McEwan, fulfil NAB's own climate promises and stop funding new coal, starting with Whitehaven - a corporation that plans to double coal exports this decade.
This community led, peaceful and fun event will be the culmination of the #NotAnotherDollar Week of Action.
We will start with a rally outside NAB's Sydney HQ and will make sure the decision makers see and hear our demands - through songs, chants and powerful speakers. We'll then go on a march through the CBD, to visit 3 nearby NAB branches.
