Stand with Wangan & Jagalingou to defend their human rights and homeland

(*Note, date change to Weds 15th)

Join our digital storm to amplify the Wangan and Jagalingou people’s urgent call for the Queensland Government and Adani's biggest investors to respect their human rights and protect the precious Doongmabulla Springs.

During lockdown we can’t protest outside investor’s branches, but we can join forces online to get the message across. Info, email templates, phone call tips and other resources provided on the night.

REQUIRED READING: Please read the words of the Wangan and Jagalingou Cultural Custodians.  As allies, our role is to refer people back to what the Wangan and Jagalingou have said, not speak on their behalf.
"As original sovereign people of a vast area of unceded land in the Galilee Basin in central-western Queensland we are acting to protect our land and water from Adani’s Carmichael Coal Mine that interferes with our ancient law and custom. We are tribal warriors and we are #StandingOurGround
Right now Adani are destroying our culture and country. Soon they’ll start draining the water table for their mine. That’s going to drain the life out of our country and kill our dreaming. Adani have given us no choice but to intervene to protect our land, water and culture." -W&J Nagana Yarrbayn Cultural Custodians
