NAB executives and shareholders get together each year for NAB's Annual General Meeting (AGM). This year, it's in Melbourne.
For those of us who won't be in Melbourne on the day, we want to make sure that NAB shareholders and executives are still hearing our demands to stop funding coal!
In NAB's most recent climate report, NAB said they're 'considering selectively reducing exposure to high emitting clients that have been unable to demonstrate how they are aligned with the Group's sector targets [1].' Since Whitehaven have no transition plan and are actively trying to double their coal production by 2030, we are calling on NAB to start this reduction by giving no further finance to Whitehaven coal.
