Walanbaa Ngiiyani/Stronger Together film screening

Walanbaa Ngiiyani | Stronger Together is a 35-minute documentary film on the disastrous impacts of coal and gas extraction on communities around Australia and the Pacific.

The film follows a one-of-a-kind trip to Gomeroi Country, bringing together Gomeroi Traditional Custodians, Pacific Climate Warriors and school strikers, as they share powerful stories of the impact the coal and gas industry is having on their lands, lives and livelihoods. These stories arepowerful, and this film needs to be shared.

This film is supported by Move Beyond Coal.

Brunswick Uniting Church is hosting this screening because we are concerned about the disastrous impacts of the coal and gas industry on peoples’ lives, livelihoods and futures. Climate change is real, its effects are being noticed more and more, and it is not going away.
