Northern Beaches Move Beyond Coal Kick Off!
The Move Beyond Coal movement finished last year on a massive high with our campaign demands front and centre of NAB executives. But the next 6 months are critical to push NAB over the line to rule out coal.
Join this evening planning and info-session to ramp up our plans to move Australia beyond coal!
WHAT: An evening to connect, learn new skills and shape our campaign activities for the first half of the year.
A final agenda will be sent closer to the time, but will include:
- A campaign update on how we are tracking to push NAB to rule out Whitehaven coal!
- Time to plan collective activities to ramp up our campaign in 2023!
- Discussing how we can continue to centre justice and solidarity in our work.
WHO: This event is designed for people who have been active in the #StopAdani and Move Beyond Coal movements across the Northern Beaches. But we also welcome anyone keen to get active in 2023!
FOOD/DRINKS: Enjoy a locally brewed Modus beer and some dinner available for purchase at the bar
COVID SAFETY: Because a new Covid variant is present in our communities and we are coming off a holiday period when people have been socialising, whilst it is not mandated by the Government we are encouraging participants to wear masks (whilst indoors and not speaking) and perform a RAT the morning of the event before you arrive. We will also have some spare tests available.
