WHAT: An afternoon to connect with other members of the climate community in Townsville and plan high impact campaign activities for 2023.

- Meet like minded folks across Townsville
- Hear our big picture vision for moving Australia Beyond Coal, including how vital Townsville is to this fight
- A campaign update on how we are tracking to push NAB to rule out Whitehaven coal
- Time to plan our next steps to ramp up our campaign in 2023!
WHERE: North Queensland Conservation Council (NQCC) office, 114 Boundary Street, Railway Estate, Townsville.
WHEN: Saturday 18th February, 2.00pm - 4.00pm. We'll provide you with a delicious afternoon tea!

COVID SAFETY: Because a new Covid variant is present in our communities and we are coming off a holiday period when people have been socialising, whilst it is not mandated by the Government we are encouraging participants to wear masks (whilst indoors and not speaking) and perform a RAT the morning of the event before you arrive. We will also have some spare tests available. Please stay at home if you have any symptoms or feel unwell.
